Fujita rips ex-'fat punk kicker' teammate

08:05 AM ET 08.24 | Former Saints and current Browns linebacker Scott Fujita kicked a little sand in mask of a former teammate. Fujita explained to GQ in the magazine's annual preview issue that the seniority of the kicker factors into how much grief they take from teammates after a critical miss. Of course, he did so while revealing yet again how much disdain position players have for place-kickers in general. "Last December when I was with New Orleans, our fat punk kicker, Garrett Hartley, missed a game-winner and we lost for the second week in a row -- that was one of the times you want to grab a guy and tell him to [bug] off," Fujita said. "But Hartley was young, and I didn't want to mess him up for good, so I just bit my lip and said, 'Hey, man, don't worry about it -- it was a team loss,' which of course was a total lie."

If you keep the other guys out of the endzone one more time, that kick isn't for the game. Blame the kicker all you want. I'm sure your new team appreciates your attitude.

Does "idiot linebacker" also apply. It is a team lossdon't blame the kicker because the defense let the team down.

Really, Scott? That "fat punk" helped that porous defense of yours win the Super Bowl. The Saints offense has been good for years. How good has that defense been? How many games did the Saints defense lose when the offense was clicking?

Kicked sand in his mask? Was this interview done on the beach set of Zorro? Any time your team willingly sends you to Cleveland your skills were either stolen by Hades or your kung fu was broken.

And he spent some quality time in Kansas City as well. Scott should begin and end every day thanking someone for allowing him to have his time in NO and the opportunity to win a Super Bowl.

Im no Saints fan, but I still don't think guys in here even watch football half the time... That Defense led the league in turnover, turnover margin, pts off... And won the actual superbowl for the Saints, Porter's 74 yard int ret for TD ring a bell??? and the NFC Championship game... Do you really even want to go there? 2 int, 6 forced fumbles, and how many hits on the QB???
