I would have a real hard time watching Omar play in a Tigers uniform. IF this even happened. Going from Cleveland (AL) to SF (NL) was hard to take considering he was no longer wearing an Indians uniform but at least he wasn't coming back to the Jake to play. If he showed up not only in the Jake for another team but with our division rivals...that would really be hard to take. Considering the SS for Cleveland right now is not the best I've ever seen...hell, not even middle of the pack good...I would like to see Omar come back to Cleveland if he goes anywhere.

hey there all good guys and i know they can play, but there not everyday shortstops have u ever thought about david eckstein becomin' a free agent this year. now i know someone is gonna say david who? but lets not forget david eckstein has two championships under his belt,(Angels and Cardinals), and yes he was a big success to those teams. i mean ur not gonna find a guy who can see like 400 hundred pitches and swing and onli miss 75 of them.

LASTCHOICE...who says it still isn't...last time I checked the Indians were owning the Tigers and are only 1 win short of being tied for the best record in baseball. Looks to me like the WC could still come from the Central.

Naw TRUTH...this is the new TRIBE...no JINX this year. I will say this however...Westbrook is looking like a liability here of late. In his last 8 starts he is 2-3 w/ 3 ND's. In his last 5 starts he is 1-2 w/ 2 ND's. Last five starts...6.2 innings (3 R's) W.....5.0 innings (4R's) L.....7.2 innings (2R's) ND (offense fault on this one)....6 innings (5R's) L....Last night 5 innings (4R's) ND...So with the exception of one quality outing he is putting way too much pressure on the offense. We can't hit 4 HR's every game!

Tribe13, what the hell are you talking about? You do know WC is wildcard don't you? I am going to assume you didn't know what WC meant because to suggest the Tigers have a shot is just too ridiculous.

Also the Tribe is the worst team in the playoffs and going out in the first round. They are the team everyone wants to face. Beating up on the awful Tigers and the rest of the central means nothing.

What have they done against the other 3 teams in the playoffs?

0 and 6 vs yanks
3 and 5 vs sox
5 and 5 vs angels

That is 8 and 16 vs playoff teams. Doesn't look like a good number to me. Maybe you can spin it.

The record doesn't really matter because of the unbalanced schedule. The Tribe has a record of 45-23 in the central and that is where they played most of their games. They are 18-18 VS the East and 12 and 5 VS the West. If they were in any other AL div then their record would be a lot worse. If they were in the East they would be 3rd or worse. The bad news for the Tribe is they will not see any central teams in the playoffs.
