08:02 AM ET 08.26 | One roster spot spot remains open in Boston and, according to a report, the Celtics would like to see a shooter fill that spot. With reports circling about interest in fiery if disgruntled Portland guard Rudy Fernandez, Danny Ainge acknowledged that he was pursuing trade options, though he wasn't sure a deal would fall in place. "We're just continuing to explore available players and trade possibilities and see what sort of options are there," said the Celtics president. "There are some trade discussions that we're having. I don't know the likelihood of those happening, but we'll continue to not rush into something unless it's something that we're really excited about."

Why not? As long as the asking price is right. Play well or sit down

I hope they go for Delonte instead the guy's a slinger and Lebron can't stand him.

Portland may finally realize he's not worth much and lower their asking price.that being said, he doesn't want to sit benind Roy, why would He be happier behind Allen?

Yea I agree

Boston doesn't have any players to trade unless they are willing to part ways with Sheldon, now thats a tough one :)

It can happen, I just did it on NBA2k10 and he looks good in a green uniform.

This guy said he will sit out for 2 years to break his contract because he is not getting playing time. Last year he got his minutes and started games with Roy being out and he stunk it up. His man would always have an uncontested dunk then Rudy would jack up a three to try and make himself look good, which he missed anyway. Why would anyone sign this whiny quitter?
