08:31 AM ET 08.27 | The nation's new No. 1 has announced his intentions ... sort of. Winter Park basketball standout Austin Rivers has moved to No. 1 in the Rivals.com listing of the nation's top senior prospects and has begun to map out his plan for official campus visits. Rivers, speaking Wednesday before boarding an Orlando flight to Los Angeles for Saturday's Boost Mobile Elite 24 game, said he will take separate weekend trips to Duke and North Carolina in October. He wasn't certain of the dates or the order of those visits. "I think Florida will be my last visit, and Kansas will be my third one," Rivers said. "Those are still my four top schools."

I know his family doesn't need the loot but does anyone think Rivers will spend more than one season on campus? Word is his offense is NBA ready now and that he needs to add strength.

How disappointing. A headline talking about the #1 recruit visiting florida last, and it turns out to be a basketball thread.

Who cares about this article? If he is really all that good, then he will be a one and done.

Sadly ... I absolutely agree. I used to love CBB but ... not so much now. One and done has caused me to lose interest.

I sure hate to be ontopic in these threads, but Rivers ain't comin' to Gainesville. He had his chance and we've moved on.

Bank it.

Yep. As we would say in football recruiting: "hat on the table".

It's Eddie Munster, all grown up and excelling.

I haven't lost interest, because the schools that stack their rosters with one-and-done players don't win the NCAA tourney.

Excelling and gelling. (Or maybe that's mousse, but nah-- that doesn't rhyme.)

Yeah, but Billy D can coach. How is Rick Barnes do for you? ;)

Okay, enough commentary on CBB. LGDTB, shall we?

I think the Orange shirt is a clear indicator that Thaisse is a Vol fan.
