I am shocked that a losing team would be willing to part with a 43 old reliever with a 6.21 ERA.

Unless the deal comes with a wayback machine, I can't see many takers.

No complaints here. He gave us the best couple years he could. Age caught up with him. Good luck getting to 600 Hoff where ever you end up. You deserve it. Hells Bells!!

Hello Kenny Williams! Get off your rear end if you want to catch Minnesota and make the playoffs.

Agree, The ChiSox already won the rights to get Manny Ramirez, here's the second piece of the puzzle "pitching" Kenny Williams. Trevor Hoffman's numbers are,t that great this year, but a change of sceenery could help and the addition wouldn't hurt any over what the SOX already have in the Bullpen

jgb, yeah Hoffman only has 599 saves. No big deal. Yeah, he hasn't won a world series or anything. Players such as John Stockton, Karl Malone, Reggie Miller. Ken Griffey Jr., Tony Gwynn Sr., and Robin Yount never won a championship. Yet, they are still in the HOF. Players don't need to win championships in order to reach the hall of fame. They have to be great.
