08:10 AM ET 08.30 | With the running game Byron Scott wants to install, Daniel "Boobie" Gibson may be one of its benefactors. With less than a month before the Sept. 28 start of training camp, Gibson is looking forward to erasing the memory of last season and making his mark in Scott's up-tempo offense. Although he usually responded when called upon, he couldn't seem to find a regular spot in Mike Brown's rotation last year. "I definitely feel like I didn't get a fair chance," Gibson said of last season. ... "But I think I'll surprise some people," he said. Scott won't be one of them. He's already a fan of the young guard. "No. 1, he can shoot," Scott said of Gibson. "He can make shots. No. 2, he's tough. Boobie's a little warrior."

dont rile up the cav homers.......we don't understand that all their bench players are all stars that haven't had their opportunity

For somebody that thinks so lowly of our team, you sure do find a way to "always" post in our threads JGB. Thinks that make you go hmmmmmmmm?!?!? Focus on the Knicks bub, they have troubles of their own.

um, this is not 'your ' thread.....

You're right, it's not my thread. However, I AM A CAVS fan, AND YOU ARE NOT, so I don't understand why you ALWAYS deem it necessary for your two cents to be added. Go post on the G Man thread. Like I said, I'll worry about my CAVS, and you worry about your Knicks.

Thats some sound advice there Teemon!

Thanks Browns! JGB kills me sometimes. Scott didn't say he's trying to get Boobie to put up LBJ stats, he just wants to give the guy a chance to prove his worth, and help him reach his maximum potential. These guys on here flew to the thread, like flies on ****, before comprehending the meaning of the article.

BTW, I said "our" (CAVS fans) thread, not mine. Again, comprehend.

We can't help but worry about the Cavs. You guys are going through a lot and if you leave you alone you might tip over so here's to next season. Gibson for MV3!

Can you run with the Bulls, Bro?

And that means he knows basketball. NY sports fans are some of the most knowledgable, and honest anywhere which is why its so hard to play here. You can't put anything over on us. We're fiercely loyal to our teams and when a player is good we'll love them, and when they stink, we'll let them know.

"You can't put anything over on us" what about Isiah and Amare... or how about wall street? And how about all that LeBron talk.. He pulled one over on NY as well, Anthony will be next.

August 30, 2010  10:26 AM ET

Well with West Gone....we will see who gets the minutes, Boobie or Ramon Sessions
