08:13 AM ET 08.30 | The legal battles between driver Jeremy Mayfield and NASCAR are not likely to come to a end anytime soon. Mayfield filed suit against NASCAR, citing a false positive drug test for methamphetamines. The suit was dismissed earlier this year, but Mayfield now faces a countersuit from NASCAR before he is able to appeal the ruling in his case. On Sept. 8, Mayfield and NASCAR are scheduled to meet and try to settle the breach-of-contract claim against the 41-year-old driver.

Excuse me.... Road tracks are not an indication of what you insinuate. If so, Boris Said is the latest sliced Bread. And come on... It was a Nationwide race for crying out loud!

i dont recall papis battling for any wins in the cup series on road courses in the geico toyota.. not even close.

so what if it was a nationwide race? plenty of road course ringers were racing yesterday

your hatred for foreign drivers is incredible.. are you upset NASCAR holds a race in canada as well? get over it already

Not this CRAP again! Whose give a Rat's **** about Jeremy Mayfield. Like Rex said, let's talk about Boris Said's victory which is ton's more positive and deserving of discussion than some former dead beat bozo druggy who did very little in the positive column as far as NASCAR is concerned. Way to go Boris! You deserve the win and recognition for your achievements!
