08:18 AM ET 09.01 | Tom Brady likes his reps in 2010. The Patriots' fourth preseason game is Thursday against the Giants in East Rutherford, N.J., and questions remain about whether quarterback Tom Brady and the first-team offense will play. This time, there may be reason to think it will. Brady said during his weekly appearance on WEEI that he wouldn't be surprised if he's asked to be back under center in the New Meadowlands, considering the way the team played last Thursday in a 36-35 loss to St. Louis. "I think we're all playing," Brady said. "We're all expecting to play. I don't know how long we'll play, but [coach Bill Belichick] told everybody [Sunday], 'Get ready to play.'"

Bucking the trend. Probably a good idea.

He'll play, so will the starters

September 1, 2010  08:28 AM ET

Interesting. They will play while another team that has done absolutely NOTHING...ZERO...NADA, will sit their sorry arses on the sideline also on Thursday. This is why one team continues to have success in the post season while the other....eh!!!!

Great idea. It's not like the Giants D-line can manhandle them and kill Brady or anything. Why not keep him in for the whole game?

They almost did in last game, Brady looked good, Offensive line held, I'd play him as much as he wants, just to fine tune things, go Pats!

September 1, 2010  09:53 AM ET

let them play a while. the pats didnt stick to their usual game 3 pre season game plan for the starters either.

September 1, 2010  10:12 AM ET

Leigh Bodden won't.......uhhh ohhhhh.

A bad D just got even worse.

This is a make or break year for the Patriots, Brady and Moss, can't let Brady get injured before he signs contract? Moss has to make a statement, hes leaving after this year....
sorry to say but I see Super Bowl ;-)

We'll see. The D isn't bad, it's inexperienced. Who knows, maybe some will step up. Hello Brandons M. and S., Tully, and Patrick.
