Sanchez drawing unfortunate comparison

08:01 AM ET 09.02 | Is Mark Sanchez the next -- gulp -- Rick Mirer? Both players were able to start for their team as rookies and both players had high hopes for the future after that rookie season. We know Mirer never played as well as he did as a rookie, and never advanced his skill or production level. His rookie season ended up being his career year. What will happen with Sanchez this year? Will he become like Mirer, or will he be able to take the next big step toward becoming a complete quarterback?

Uh oh, to be compared to Rick Mirer is like being compared to JaMarcus, it's company you don't want to be in.

Way to early to make any comparisons to anyone, but yeah he was way overhyped last year... I think I heard "poise" and his name put together a million times last season.

That is not a flattering pic. Big head little body.

It doesn't matter how good a QB he is if his team collapses in disarray around him. Everyone from the coach to the water boy on this team has an ego that just won't quit. If they don't start at least 3-1, they're going to fall apart.

And their schedule for those games ain't an easy one...

Looking like that he's not going to see much action off the field. At least Leinart has that in his pocket. LOL!!!

And that's all he has in his pocket. The thing he lacks? Talent.

This picture is going to haunt him for years.

If he got that suit at Mens Wearhouse he's entitled to his money back.

Believe me, "no one will notice me" ain't a quote that will ever be associated with Sanchez (or anyone else on the Jets).

This is the kind of stupid writing that gets T & R such a bad rep.
