08:02 AM ET 09.02 | Few NFL first-team players are expected to play this week, which puts Albert Haynesworth in a unique spot. Most Redskins veterans are not expected to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals, but Haynesworth figures to be busy at University of Phoenix Stadium. Coach Mike Shanahan and defensive coordinator Jim Haslett increased Haynesworth's workload during last week's victory over the New York Jets. Shanahan and Haslett want Haynesworth to be ready to play right end Sept. 12 against the Dallas Cowboys at FedEx Field, and Haynesworth could benefit from getting reps at end against the Cardinals.

Stop the presses, he actually wants to work for his money?

Good thing he is facing a weak team in week 1. Oh wait...the 'Boys performance was really a mirage...kind of like the mirage of Haynesworth earning his money.
