First Crayton, now Housh? What are the odds?

Roy Williams should be holding the door for both these guys.

Indeed, it still boggles the mind that despite his poor play, Williams will be on the roster this upcoming season.

You made deal pack with the devil ($$) and you pay, like rolling tumbling dice.
he will get picked up for one year, at a cheaper price, days of huge salaries for WR are over, heck he could wind up back with bengals

Welcome to Minnesota, Bro!

Agreed. Jerry's so worried about doing anything that might imply signing Williams was a mistake.... he's overlooking that fact that keeping him isn't such a great idea, either.

Dave, when have you ever been known to think?

September 4, 2010  09:05 AM ET

I know it's off topic, but Rosenfels to the Giants? Wow.

September 4, 2010  09:09 AM ET

Read over on USA today that Carrol is gonna move Mike Williams into the starting line-up. So Steve Spurrier is back in the NFL apparently.

Did not see that coming.

The Cowboys and Seahawks should have done Crayton for Housh straight up.

I kind of feal bad for Sage, even though he is still making a put load of cash for holding a clipboard. After the contract Eli signed, Sage will only see playing time if; Manning goes down or if the Giants are blowing out the other team to a point where they start to pull starters. Something tell me A is more likely than B.

The Cowboys didn't exactly get off easy trading for him either.

September 4, 2010  09:27 AM ET

Housh has been and always will be overrated. Can't believe Seattle actually was paying him that much. Oh well now they can develop some of their younger prospects at WR.

The boys are too deep at WR, No takers for his huge salary, 7 million? You seashawk fans get really for rebuilding, youth, reduce salaries

It seems a little odd that the Vikes would make a move like that so close to the start of the season.

Sage must have really worn out his welcome.
