Bills winless in 2010?

08:27 AM ET 09.06 | Yes, the Bills have C.J. Spiller, but by at least one measure Buffalo could go winless in 2010. The Bills would kill for an average offensive line. They're decent in the interior, but their tackles stink. The two biggest hits quarterback Trent Edwards took this summer were when right tackle Cornell Green got beat, and left tackle Demetrius Bell was among the league's most penalized linemen last season -- and he played in only eight games. ... If any team has a chance to go 0-16 this season, it's the Bills.

I agree with you. To go winless requires a very special kind of ineptitude.

Doubtful a team will replicate the Lions ineptitude.

oooooooohhhhh...that's harsh man. I really don't see that happening tho. Just from the qb position there is a big difference.

As long as McNabb stays healthy. If not, there's a dropoff.

Maybe they go winless in their division... but Detroit has that O-Fer thing pretty much to themselves for now.

Agreed. The Bills are a bad team but they can win 2-4 games this year.

They went 3-4 their last seven games last year. Throw in the last place schedule, a decent, if not flashy, head coach, and no, they will win some games. The NFL is ripe with mediocre teams and none of them are perfect.

I wonder if teams will ever learn that no matter how talented the quarterback or running back is, they can't throw or run if the offensive line sucks.

Mediocrity seems to describe many teams this year. Some teams were afraid to do too much with the labor uncertainty, so we are left with about a handful of teams in the upper echelon and most of the rest in the middle, with a few exceptions being worse.

Adam Scheiffer mentioned this morning that a minimum of 5 teams make the playoffs each season that did not make the playoffs the previous year. And, this has happened each of the last 8 seasons.
Not saying that Buffalo will be one of those teams this season... especially in that division. But they have a shot... like every other team.

I doubt we will see 0-16 again, but I wouldn't be suprised to see them with the first pick in the draft. Edwards out, Locker or Luck in.

I think Arizona and Chicago might be in that mix as well.

Parity at its best. At least half the teams in the NFL are not much better than the Bills. If at all.
