08:36 AM ET 09.06 | Wattage aside, perhaps the Miami Heat's cast of superheros -- or villains, depending on your point of view -- will not be led by King James. TNT's Reggie Miller said the Heat's star system is simple: "Dwyane Wade is the Derek Jeter here. LeBron James is the Alex Rodriguez. One of those guys will have to sacrifice, and it will have to be LeBron. This is still Dwyane's team."

Ofcourse it is! It isn't like a King has arrived to take over HIS team. So long they keep recruiting sidekicks, its always his team.

It's Wade's team because Wade is a better player, he has a better skill set and he gives it all.

Lebron is just a match-up nightmare because he is freakishly athletic for his size - nothing more. And that is why he is the perfect COMPLIMENT.

The Heat are LRMR's team, Bros.

September 6, 2010  10:48 AM ET

of course it's Wade's team still, everyone knows this. LeSidekick is just along for the ride

I'm sure LeWeasle is happy that Mike Miller put an exclamation point on that statement!!!!! Hahahahahaha.....It's small comments like this all along the way that will eat away at LeQuit and ruin the chemistry of the team. If there is a God in heaven that's what will happen...LOL...And to anybody who says "Get over it" I say to you "Gent Bent". Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend all my self avowed Lebron haters....LMAO....

Wade's team--as it should be. He's still their best player.

The fact that people have to make statements to support the Heat remaining Wade's team tends to bring doubt into the picture. If it were unquestionably his team, why the need to make the statements and analogies supporting Wade? I think people need to wait and see how it plays out.

All I know is that it will not be Bosh's team. <laughs>

well said and lebron understand that. There is an article where wade said he doesnt care about being league MVP as long as his team win rings and thats is why wade wanted lebron there. He wouldnt mind sharing the spotlight and he would even take less money that lebron and even bosh

Did Reggie Miller join the Heat roster too? If not, what does his comment have to do with anything?

Well we'll see if he meant it. Both LeFlake and Bosh will make $300,000 more money than Wade this year.

Ha ha...
Toronto wasn't even Bosh's team.

Thank you.

Don't be surprised to hear more talk like this in the future, because the only way this team is going to get beat is if they start listening to stuff like this and beat themselves mentally.

Doesn't matter who team it is, they still have 2.5 un-guardable players and the next best team has 1.5.

Amen!

To say anything other than Kobe is better than Wade would be sacrilegious.

However Kobe has reached his zenith and will start his slow eventual decline down to being just very good. Wade is still on the upward climb but will reach his peak soon. Then IMO the two will be equal.

In the meanwhile Durant will continue his meteoric rise and will be the best player in two to three years time.
