Raunchy rap rumor haunts L.J.

08:47 AM ET 09.22 | Shortly after Chiefs practice Friday, a reporter approached Larry Johnson at his locker and asked him to rap. Johnson just smirked. "I don't rap," he said. "I run the football. It's what I do." Johnson's football skills, however, were hardly the hot topic around this time last week, when someone posted a rap song on the Internet allegedly sung by Johnson that included some scathing comments about Chiefs president/general manager Carl Peterson and running back Priest Holmes. In a statement issued Sept. 14, Johnson denied involvement in the song and said the voice on the recording wasn't his. He declined to answer questions about the situation until Friday, when he discussed it at length.

Larry Johnson is the biggest phony thug. He grew up in suburban maryland and then in state college, PA. It's tough to root against a guy who graduated from my high school and my college, but he's such a complete ****, that it's not tough at all.

He should stick to painting

September 22, 2007  11:51 AM ET

You jerks seem to have forgotten he didn't have anything to do with the song.

September 22, 2007  12:25 PM ET

Who even cares. It isn't like he is the first player to make a pathetic attempt to be a rapper.

September 22, 2007  12:25 PM ET

If it's even him.

September 22, 2007  03:03 PM ET

If you guys checked out the site on Myspace.com you'll see the confession from the song writers that LJ had nothing at all to do with the song at all. Lets lay off him a little bit.

Cuerazo hit the nail on the head, the guys a fraud, he acts like he is from the mean streets of the inner-city ghetto, but he got every conceivable advantage toward being a great NFL RB, oh and for those who watched Hard Knocks, the guy dresses like a homosexual hooker (the scene where he finally signs his contract) and "works out" with a cap on, cocked to the side, when it is obvious he acting for the cameras, it was ridiculous...

September 22, 2007  09:10 PM ET

Yeah i didnt watch the train wreck that was Hard Knocks.

Larry Johnson should have dragged that idiot reporter into the shower, stripped him bare naked and made him pick up the soap bar of the floor for all his teammates. What a moron! (DC)

Kophawk,
You should know all about homosexual hookers, now go back to your soccer blog. And keep telling your little friends to ignore me.

September 23, 2007  12:31 AM ET

DikCruiser,
Reprieve is over. Figures a soccer fan would be interested in someone bending over in the shower. Follow Kophawk back to the blog you love.

September 23, 2007  12:56 AM ET

Tell em Daddy. Those two losers are soccer bloggers, I checked it out. You made some great comments to those punks. Keep it up.

September 23, 2007  01:31 AM ET

Well, Scotty (JustCallYourselfDaddy), I didn't think you're man enough or smart enough to accept a truce. Not that I had any doubts, but I thought it would be worth giving it a try to let you save face!

Is calling someone you disagree with a f*a*g or g*a*y your best argument? Your kind does that all the time when unable to defend their position. It not only shows how dim witted rednecks are but further exposes you for the hateful, intolerant sorry arse you really are.

So, you can go back to your pigeon hunting! Now, there is a real tough, manly, macho sport for you! I'm sure it takes a lot of brain power and hand-eye coordination to blast pigeons out of the sky with a shotgun! You must be exhausted! How macho! Almost as macho as dog fighting! (DC)

I blog on many sports sites, MakeMyDay. I enjoy many different sports, including my beloved Chicago Bears and Cubs. If having the ability to comprehend, play and enjoy more than one sport and making a decent living from them makes me a punk and a looser in your eyes, so be it. Makes me wonder though, what does that make you? (DC)

September 23, 2007  01:58 AM ET

Somehow, I just knew you'de be an anti-hunter as well.

EXPOSED: DC is a soccer fan and anti-hunter.
