LeBron still welcome in Horseshoe

08:02 AM ET 09.10 | If LeBron James does attend Saturday's Miami-Ohio State game, coach Jim Tressel and his quarterback would appreciate civility. Tressel said Thursday that it was time to let go all that anger. "Sore subjects need to pass," Tressel said at a news conference. "Things are as they are. We all make decisions. You have to respect one another's decisions and move on." ... James communicates with Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who also urged fans to welcome the former Cavaliers forward. "If LeBron does come, just treat him with respect and respect his decision," Pryor said. "Please, no name calling, or booing, or anything like that because that's my mentor. I have a lot of respect and a lot of love for him."

It's sad when somebody else has to beg the fans to respect you. How the hell do you expect fans to respect him when he first disrespected the whole state of Ohio by promising to stick it out for a championship knowing damn well he was lying outta his teeth? You can spin it all you want but the fact remains he insulted his own people and back stab them on national tv. He didn't give a bleep about the mayor or governor that begged him to stay... now look who's begging for respect?... he can kiss my **** from Miami to Cleveland.

You can buy cars but you can't buy the respect of fans in Ohio and everywhere else. Lebron is a cold minded loser. I wonder how he feels when the national anthem is played cos it talks about bravery and commitment.... but this guy turned his back on his own people to take the easy road to win a championship. How the hell can any rational being respect him... man F that loser. He should be banned from stepping foot in that state. See how the Saints won for New Orleans... that's a championship of blood, sweat and tears - the american way. He's the opposite of that. F him.

interested to hear what OHIO FANS think of their own star QB (better than their NFL QB) have to say about Pryor calling LBJ his mentor ?

I wonder if he will wear OSU or UM gear?

there goes WILLY still hurting in the heart (& in the ****) from LBJ's decision !

dude you have a lot of hate inside you...you seem like the crazy ex-girlfriend...just let it go & move on...you have a new **** to pull with Amare just be happy about what you got & not sad about what you didnt.

maybe you & DOC should go to therapy together & after that have a nice dinner & who knows maybe you 2 will start something special together...for sure the 2 of you are made for each other.

now answer this...IF LBJ would have gone to NY (which we all know now he doesnt really like NY) would you still be saying these things? Be honest with yourself before answering or just ignore like you always do.

How many times do I have to tell you this. Everything happens for a reason. LeQuits destiny does not include NY. He wasn't built for that...If he couldn't make it in Cleveland how do you expect him to make it here... there's a reason he run and I'm very grateful for that. I think I woulda still hated him cos of the crap that comes out of his mouth... have you heard him post "the stupid decision"? The guy talks like a child... he's not all the way up there... he'd choke and cry in front of the NY media. If he came here he'd definitely answer questions about why he quit in those playoff games... I went back to watch the tapes... Gilbert wasn't lying. If it was in soccer he'd be charged for collecting bribes... it was too obvious. Then there's the whole incident of Delonte and Gloria... it'll be spilled in public... he knew better and run away from his own people to dodge in Pat Riley's dome... I can easily see Chris Rock asking him how's your momma? You know that's a touchy subject... he'd cry... the guy's phoney. He'll never be a Knick. We're some brave soldiers like Starks... we stand up and fight...

Eff Lebron. I hope they boo the hell out of him. He's such a front runner, he has been his whole life. Let's run it down. He was a Bulls fan, a Cowboy fan and a Cowboy fan after being born and raised in Ohio. Granted we've had crappy teams, but I was born and raised here and stuck with all these horrible teams. I just didn't have it in me to root for anybody else. I hope Lebron gets hit with a burrito with hot sauce.

So you admit is quite silly to have wanted him there in the first place?

I keep telling people Lost, watch the tapes of game 5. Everybody wants to gloss over it. It was the most egredious example of quitting I've ever seen in sports. And I don't want to hear how he almost averaged a triple double for the series. That lack of effort and interest in game 5 mars his career forever in my mind. Mark my words, there will come another time in his career when he will be acused of this again.

Of course we all wanted him cos he fooled us into thinking he had a brain. Not knowing all this time he's hatched a plan. Look how he got Wes to train Eddy Curry when we could have suspended the guy. Look what Chicago did to make room for him. He even got his governor and mayors singing. What irks most people is the promises he made knowing damn well he's lying. That's premeditated evil plots. Only sick minded people do that. Even his own team mates and people he called family were misled... those team bonding events... man he did Ohio in.

We'll probably applaud him instead - who in the hell cares about the Cavaliers anyway? He's wearing Ohio State colors - he almost came here for a year people!
