Indians to turn Progressive Field into winter wonderland

09:07 AM ET 09.11 | The Indians don't have a snowball's chance in you- know-where of making the playoffs this year. But the snowball has a great chance in Progressive Field after the regular season ends. The team is set to roll out a new plan to put Progressive Field to good use during the cold off-season in Cleveland. They're calling it "Snow Days" and the plan is to turn the ballpark into a winter theme park. Instead of sitting vacant for four months, the ballpark will be outfitted with an ice rink that loops around the warning track, a fire pit on the home run porch and -- Tipoff will be first in line for this -- an innertubing hill that descends from the bleachers and onto the field.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha thats funny. That money is going to go straight into Dolan's babk account. He crabs about losing money on the team.... of course you're going to lose money! You put a crappy product out there, people don't buy it. Simple economics.

Christ!!!! Now LD is going to bleed some money from the people of Cleveland during the winter months too. I hope the "Winter Wonderland" doesn't suck as much as the product he puts on the field April-September.
If that S.O.B puts more into this "Winter Wonderland" than he does the Indians I am going to loose it..........Damn, he really suck!

that would be an interesting experiment---to try to provide a winter theme park that reflects fortunes of the ballclub. they should build the two biggest and best tobaggon slides in the world and then trade them for a bunch of kids equipment in need of assembly.
