08:09 AM ET 09.14 | Cody Johnson started in Week 1, followed by Tre Newton in Week 2, and, now, Texas will spin the wheel again. Texas coaches bumped Fozzy Whittaker to the top of [Monday's] depth chart as part of personnel tweaks in preparation for Saturday's Big 12 opener at Texas Tech. Whittaker, who had a 39-yard touchdown run in the sixth-ranked Longhorns' 34-7 victory over Wyoming, becomes the third different tailback listed as a projected starter in the three depth charts released this season by Texas coaches. ... Whittaker, a junior, is slated to get the nod against Tech. Whittaker leads the team in rushing yards through two games (113), as well as yards per carry (7.1).

nickname. fozzyreal name. Foswhittnot much better. But one heck of a player in HS. Injury prone. Like Cody (plus weight issues) and Vondrell McGee. Never healthy.

FJJ. The Longhorns, are fortunate to have such good depth at RB.

Wow. Their learning curve better go through the roof, and quickly. But, if nothing else, this group could become UT's version of the "Super Sophomores" for next year.

I like UF's group of freshman next year. Heck I like most of them this year. A lot of true freshman have made the rotation and are pushing for more playing time. However, UF did lose 9 players to the draft.

News flash!! Texas has three pretty damn good, but no outstanding, RBs.

My thoughts when I read this too. One will emerge as the top dog but in the meantime that is one of the nice problrems to have as a coach.
