07:54 AM ET 09.15 | There is an irony to the following hurricanesports tweet: "Football program has asked players to shut down Twitter accounts. Goal is to limit distractions & focus. Bigger goals than TWEETING." Hurricanes players were forced to shut down their Twitter accounts on Tuesday. The decision was made by Coach Randy Shannon. According to a UM spokesman, Shannon has expressed the purpose is to limit distractions and increase focus. ... QB Jacory Harris tweeting a fun picture of himself wearing black and silver Oakland Raiders overalls and matching hat to class wasn/t the reason he threw four interceptions.

well I suppose you may as well tell the players to shush since Ohio State shut their fans up for the year. haha, i crack myself up sometimes:)

now wait a minute, this is a team from the state of Florida i'm cracking on so let me check , do they have any receivers that are going to send me death threats?

Just in case, Miami you have a very nice team, tough luck this past saturday to get whipped and i mean whipped by the team that SEC teams take delight in destroying in BCS championship games. Dang I did it again, any dangerous receivers? So again, just in case, you have a very nice team Miami.

I say kudos. I think the whole world should give up twitter, scroll bars and 24 hour sports news.

I wonder what the hell they had to tweet about after Saturdays' game. Don't blame tweeting for being beaten by a superior football team.Miami will be good again but they will never be the Canes of the Jimmy Johnson or Larry **** eras.

I hope Jimmy doesn't have a heart attack on survivor.

Good luck next week! BTW, I enjoy your posts. I don't really know much about NCAA football. I'm a Maryland fan which is sort of like rooting for your favorite girl scout troop to lead the state in cookie sales!

41 dang it, 37 on the front and the back is even easier to me. got a case of the hookies on a few holes. haha hit a house on 16, figured that was out of bounds. want more? i doubled that hole. then birdied 17 and made a 20 footer on 18 for par.
