Isiah testifies to b-word, cheerleaders
Knicks president and coach Isiah Thomas insisted yesterday he's no "b"-ball player. The hoops legend told a Manhattan federal jury he never cursed at fired executive Anucha Browne Sanders and said it's always wrong for men to use the B-word. One of the witnesses Garden lawyers skipped was Petra Pope, the former head of the Knicks City Dancers cheerleaders, who Browne Sanders said was once ordered by Thomas to visit referees to "make them happy." Thomas denied the happy-talk claim but admitted that Garden honcho Steve Mills reprimanded him for asking the curvy Pope to check in on the zebras.
