LeBron will play the point among three spots

08:06 AM ET 09.20 | Will LeBron James be asked to adjust his game with Dwyane Wade? Both players invariably will, but Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is not pushing that notion. "I made the point to LeBron that I don't want to reinvent his game," Spoelstra said in a wide-ranging chat Friday. "I don't want him to feel uncomfortable. As a two-time MVP, we want to make sure what he does best, he will be able to do in our system." James will play at least three positions (small forward, point guard, some power forward). Spoelstra has not asked him to scale back his scoring, though that is an expected offshoot of playing with Wade. "LeBron certainly will play minutes during the game at point guard and handle the ball a lot," Spoelstra said.

Come on Lebron. Just blow out a knee already so that we're done with you.

No doubt. But I think he'll go down with something strange. These special kids go out with some crap you can't imagine. From a basketball perspective moving Lebron to various positions means making other positions vulnerable and affect the growth of the scrubs that are supposed to handle those positions long term. If you look at the championship teams all the core players have well defined roles... what's going on Spo? If you can't figure it out step aside. The whole world is against your team anyway.

Indeed.Fools gold if you will.No credit for what we do and all the criticism for what we don't do.

It's just Lebron. He comes with unrealistic expectations. He left back to back regular season glory and second round playoff ouster for greener pastures. But it aint like the teams they lost to didn't get better. Orlando added Q who handles Lebron very well. Boston added Lebron's nemesis... Shaq & Delonte so there's a great chance Miami won't get out of the East and even if they do Lakers will sweep them. So he's already set for disappointment and as always its always somebody else's fault. Gloria does Cleveland, Gloria please don't do Miami.

September 20, 2010  09:02 AM ET

They say when you come across an ugly chick like Khloe Kardashian you compliment her eyes. But I'm looking at Gloria James and wonder what Delote said to get the forplay started. He couldn't be obsessed with that... yikes.

No matter what the story is it's always come down to the KIng James crap.... Let the season start please... I hope they get Dampier soon so that their crappy bench stays crappy.... I can't believe one fan compared the Heat team to the 92 Dream team yesterday....

There's no cure for homerism. Leave it to Hllywood, this is Warrior's year to win it all.
