07:59 AM ET 09.21 | Though they lost a big name, the Cavaliers may add a big body. According to multiple league sources, the team has been in contract talks with restricted free agent center Kyrylo Fesenko. The developing 7-foot-1, 300-pound Ukrainian has played the last three seasons with the Utah Jazz, who would have matching rights to any offer Fesenko receives. Fesenko, who owns one of the biggest bodies in the league, played in 46 games last season for the Jazz and averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds. Utah has been hoping he would accept their one-year qualifying offer of $1 million and have reportedly grown frustrated with him in recent days.

This dude is huge. I have no idea if he can play though. This is from Wikipedia:
After playing four seasons in native Ukraine, Fesenko was selected 38th overall in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and then traded to the Utah Jazz, signing a three-year contract with the Jazz on August 15, 2007.[1] He spent most of his rookie season with the NBA Development League Utah Flash. Fesenko wears a size 18 shoe. He also owns a 7'4" wingspan and 9'4" standing reach (same standing reach as Greg Oden).[2]

I hope we're in the draft lottery, but I have a bad feeling Byron Scott is going to squeeze blood out of a rock and they're going to be around .500. Scott can coach em up, that's what he does best.

what the hell are the cavs doing..stop trying to make the playoffs you idiots. Do they not realize if they get the number 8 spot we will not only forfeit our lottery pick but possibly face MI in a quick 4 game beatdown, NOT INTERESTED. lets just do like we did in 2002 and lose like we've never lost before

I figured in Cleveland it'd be impossible to lose like you've never lost before. :p

yea yea yea im just saying if you saw the team that year it looked like they were throwing games, i remeber one of the announcers even said it during those last few games because it got so close between cleveland and denver considering both won 17 games

sad thing is there is no real big time prospect coming into this year like past years so hopefully one emerges

Oh I saw that team. I remember the flak the Cavs were getting every day for looking like they were deliberately tanking the season.

i could have sworn the coach had issues with that as well
because they were just mailing it in every game

This kid sucks. Teams have no reason to add 7' 300 pounders anymore, Shaq has declined and is slightly better than Eric Dampier and Dwight won't make it to the finals unless he develops a low post game that consists of something other than a dunk and if he also gets 2 more all star caliber players not named Jameer Nelson and Vince Carter.

until lebron the cavs never really made great decisions on draft day since brad daugherty, but as long as they dont draft another Vitaly Potapenko ill be happy. Tho id be even happier if they got rid of everyone and brought in iverson and let him loose for 48mins a night
