Michigan LB recruit has no idea
Recruiting Web site Rivals.com gives Birmingham Detroit Country Day linebacker Kenny Demens a four-star rating (the highest is five stars). If you are looking for insight as to which school he's leaning toward, you've come to the wrong place. He says he truly has no idea what his decision will be. Demens will decide between the maize and blue of Michigan or the green and white of the Spartans or the scarlet and cream of Nebraska.

"four-star rating (the highest is five stars)"
Maybe I'm just a crazy SEC fan, but I find that somewhat insulting. Then again, they do take 1-star recruits and hype them up like they're blue chippers and have people fight over them online b/c they don't know any better.

I visited Hell, Michigan once. Went to the Flesh Eaters' Festival. Donny Iris opened for Nazareth. Do yourself and the family a huge favor and experience the accoustic version of Hair of the Dog.

Spartans? Nebraska? Michigan is a favorite to get to the Rose Bowl every year, including this year after that win vs Penn State last year. If he was smart he'd choose Michigan. B/c Nebraska will never win the Big 12 with Texas and Oaklahoma stealing all their recurits, and the Spartans are the 5th mabey 6th best team in the Big 10. Plus, Michigan puts out a lot of defensive players into the NFL draft. If its championships and an NFL career he's looking for, Kenny should go to Michigan

Why in the world would any one want to go to michigan? Unless he LIKES going 7-5 every year and losing to Ohio State. My bad, that's just the buckeye in me talking. He can do what he wants.

I love Michigan but why would anyone want to play up north? It's cold....and snowy.....and cold.
Play in the south where football is unlike any other. My bad, that's just the southerner in me talking, the Michigan fan in me wants him to go there.

If you want to be second to OSU every year, become a Wolverine. Keep giving Lloyd Carr contract extensions and they will keep underachieving and playing that '60s Bo ball. Michigan State would be a much better choice with Mark Dantonioas coach. He trained under Nick Saban and Jim Tressel. They're coaches that are day and night better than that fossil Carr. Plus, he will be a better pro prospect being a Spartan. Most Wolverines fizzle in the NFL.

Michigan State is the way to go. Mark Dantonio will rebuild MSU into a powerhouse. Michigan is where you go if want to play old school ball, learn old has heck Bo ball, and be owned by Ohio State. Dantonio has learned under Nick Saban and Jim Tressel. Coaches who are a hell of a lot better than Carr ever will be.
