08:06 AM ET 09.24 | Brett Favre talked at length Thursday about all that stands before the Vikings. What we didn't know when the quarterback said this was he wasn't able to take part in all of the day's practice at Winter Park. Favre, who has been on the injury report all season after having surgery on his left ankle last spring, was limited for the first time in practice on Thursday. Reporters aren't able to watch the entire session so we don't know how much Favre missed. He also was listed with a back injury last week but that is no longer on the report.

Go figure. The old man is deteriorating.

He's looked limited in the games, too.

You just knew there would be a Favre story before the week ended. So glad FN did not disappoint. The couch is looking pretty damn good right about now....eh, Brett.

He's like a punch drunk boxer at this point. Someone need to knock
him out of his misery.

I feel a "career ender" coming on.

Go back to the farm, Favre....your lawnmower misses you

I had to read that twice. I thought you said the COACH was looking good.

Maybe he should start telling stories at the line of scrimmage.

The coach is an idiot. Let's start lining them up on the firing line 'cause he's got some company.

Don't forget the GM. He gets to share some of the blame, too.

Good thing Chilly has total confidence in young Tavaris Jackson.. Oh wait.

Hey grandpa tell us that story again about how you threw that stupid pass against the Giants.

He shouldn't need much at receiver with the defense and running game that he has. It would help immensely if he just threw the ball where it should be instead of it being behind guys.
