08:25 AM ET 09.24 | Receiver Troy Stoudermire remains with the Gophers, though his Facebook post earlier in the day clouded his status. Stoudermire, whose 49-yard touchdown reception against South Dakota remains the Gophers' longest play from scrimmage this season, was suspended indefinitely Wednesday by coach Tim Brewster for "conduct detrimental to the team." Hours later, his Facebook status read, "Troy Stoudermire is no longer a Gopher [and is] ready to take my talent to a top D-1 school where I will be appreciated and respected as a player." But the post was removed after only a few hours, and spokesman Andy Seeley said the junior receiver has not informed the coaching staff that he is leaving.

Bring back Glen Mason :) Hire a hotshot DC and an ace recruiter at some exorbitant price, and Minnesota moves up to upper middle of the Big 10.

Mangino will raise the water table to all 10,000 lakes. Maybe Stoudemire wants to avoid the flood to come.

Somwhere in Central America, I think. Guatamala? Belize? Sinkholes are actually not uncommon down there.

Yes. Guatemala. This one happened this past summer after a hurricane came through and drenched the place for a few days.

Clavin little known fact: Florida Field is built on a sink hole. The playing field is far below (20'-30'?) the ground outside the stadium.

Another example of "be careful what you wish for" when the Gopher bigwigs ran Mason out of town and hired this guy Brewster as HC. And now we have "Cannon" prowling the sidelines......pathetic.

Yet this happens time and time again in college football. Michigan wants to "go to the next level" so they run out Carr and hire this yahoo Rodriquez. Three years later and they might be able to get back to the Carr level this year after two dismal record-breaking seasons. Many of you might not recall this, but Notre Dame shoved Lou Holtz out the door (with help from Bob Davie) thinking it was time to move away from the old-dog Holtz to eager-beaver Davie. How'd that work out? So, now they have Kelly...an Irishman by gosh. One problem, he has never coached a good defense and how can he improve an offense that lost it's two biggest stars (Clausen & Tate). A coach whose success was earned in the College Football Subdivision aka The Big East. So, here we are with the Domers 1-2 in the Big Ten and about to face a Stanford team that will push them all over the field. Their new QB is gun shy and their star receiver won't come over the middle. Cheer up Domers, you get to play Pittsburgh and Left Michigan pretty soon!

Looks like Minnesota must have gotten themselves one of them monkey paws.

Hmm. I guess there's no WW Jacobs fans in the Houze.

don't panic....the pic in #3's post is just another MN pothole. the U will declare it 'the 10,001st lake', throw money in it, and still not have a clue what caused it. kinda like their athletic program...

Stoudermire packing his bags and catching the next train out to Alabama or USC -- taken his talent to a top D-1 program where he'll be appreciated and respected as a player-- Know Bama will appreciate and respecte any wide receiver who can catch a pass thrown to them
