Sounds like same old same old problems in Denver.

The Broncos are snake-bitten this season.

So, what I'm hearing is that there will be no running game in Denver, right?

And in 2 or 3 weeks we'll have another thread about how they're re-shuffling the deck after Maroney gets hurt.

And we're talking a Chasing-Jennifer-Lopez-Through-The-Amazon sized snake bite. Did they build Invesco Field on an Indian Burial ground or something?

No question about that. We Patriot fans waited for a long time for Lawrence to stop dancing and hit the hole with authority. Last year we finally got a glimpse of him doing just that, but he started to fumble the ball regularly.
I'm gonna be pissed if he shines in Denver, but I'm not too worried about it.........yet.

It's karma. All those years of their O-line playing that dirty **** crack back blocking technique is coming back to bite them.

The Pats are looking like the Pats I've come to know.....and, well let's just say jealous admiration. They look sharp, Jets game notwithstanding. Who expected Sanchez to play like he did?
The Pats have not been a running team since Curtis Martin. Their defense is young, but playing surprisingly well. A solid running game would just be unfair to the rest of the NFL.

Champ Bailey is a game time decision and Andre Goodman could be out as well. The Broncos could be starting two rookie CB's against Peyton Manning, one of whom is an undrafted free agent. Will they call the game once the Colts get to 50?

It was embarrassing as a fan to watch a slow motion instant replay and see your team doing some of the stuff they did back in those days. The truth of the matter is, however, the NFL has a long history of goon squad tactics. Watch film of the 70's era Steelers and Raiders piling on, clothes lining, driving players out of bounds hard. It was within the rules of the game, so they did it.
It's also interesting how it's the Broncos fault, but Mike Shanahan is a highly respected head coach and Alex Gibbs (the 'inventor' of the zone blocking offense) was in non-stop demand around the NFL through this year, when he pulled a disappearing act on Seattle.

Funny how you don't hear anything these days about the Feds lawsuit against AZ. Was it dropped in embarrassment? Apparently, the only point the Feds had was that it was illegal for states to enforce Federal immigration laws.
Bunch of sound and fury. All of a sudden, things got quiet. What's the deal?
