Texas quarterback Colt McCoy suffered a mild concussion against Kansas State, Longhorns officials said an hour after Saturday's game. McCoy will be evaluated again early this week to determine whether he can play against Oklahoma.

I'm certain it wont matter who they start.

OU by a ton.

September 30, 2007  03:33 PM ET

The Longhorns don't have a chance this year. OU can lose to everyone else, just as long as the beat the Longhorns.

September 30, 2007  03:44 PM ET

that makes no sense... saying they dont have a chance then saying they can lose to everyone else.... just for that i bet ou loses.

September 30, 2007  05:03 PM ET

that look on his face doesnt look "mild"

September 30, 2007  09:58 PM ET

Start John Chiles and see if that takes some pressure off of Mccoy.

If OU can fall to Colorado they damn sure can fall to UT....dont worry though thier is a Dark Horse in the south just waiting to take control

He got his concussion at the end of the first half, then came back out and played in the second. If nothing else, the kid is tough.

October 1, 2007  03:46 AM ET

He was tough when things were going right, not so tough on plays where he made mistakes.

October 1, 2007  09:48 AM ET

Looked woozy, didn't he?

The 12th man..Isn't Aggieland always the Darkhorse..i hear it every year, Aggies need to understand that they wil never have the program Texas or Oklahoma has.....There is no tradtion only what you guys can make up as tradition, elephant walks, kissing after TD'S (NOT ALOT OF THAT THIS YEAR)and by the way I got $1200.00 i wonder what else Fran can sell....your program is a joke...Win a Title in something else besides Marching Band and then you can talk about Dark Horses

Before Saturday I would have still said that the Longhorns will beat the Sooners. Now, I am not so sure. Wait yes I am, Sooners by two touchdowns.

October 2, 2007  02:45 PM ET

Colt, I think we should all just stay home.

I'm a die hard Longhorn fan and the games I can catch overseas are extremely disappointing...OU is going to expose what everyone is starting to realize is wrong with UT this year...defense and a running back who doesn't deserve his job. The only game where our defense showed up was against a Rice offense that graduated from **** to maggots. Surviving in the second half against Ark. State and TCU, followed by luck in recovering an onside kick at Central Florida, we don't deserve to be in the top 25 (this pains me to say). The heart of our championship defense left in Ross and Griffin, not to mention Selvin Young going undrafted to Denver (yes I know he's not defense)...it's all starting to show.

All I know is that we need to start worrying more about the play of our defense than we do which QB to start. McCoy will be fine...Chiles will be good when his time comes, but that's not where the focus should be. Let's focus on Charles holding on to the ball when it counts...maybe he'll benefit from learning the Tiki tuck...lol. Anyway, the ONLY CHANCE we have against the Sooners this week is to get pressure in the face of the QB. If we can get some off balance & blindside passes, maybe it'll give us the chance of winning by 3 or 6. That's thinking on the bright side even though I am a realist.
