07:56 AM ET 09.27 | The door recently closed on Erick Dampier landing in Miami. But in an interview on Sunday, the free-agent center said his list of possible destinations continues to grow in the wake of his recent spurning from Miami. While FanHouse reported Saturday that Milwaukee had joined Houston in the pursuit of the 35-year-old veteran, the Bucks and Rockets have unwanted company. "I've talked to Milwaukee, Toronto, Portland and one other team," he said after confirming talks with the Rockets as well. "There's no one in the No. 1 spot. I'm not in a rush. I just want to find the perfect fit and give myself an opportunity to compete for a championship."

Good luck Damp. In Dallas he is unaffectionately known as "Hands of Stone". So maybe they have a team on Easter Island, he would start for sure there.

That is what am saying.Riley does not want him so now his chances at a ring are slim to none.

It's interesting to note that Miami is the only championship caliber team that went after him. All the other championship teams like Boston, Lakers and Orlando passed. This tells me Miami is not a real championship threat cos if he was any good the other contenders will want him too. They're self-proclaimed like their favorite summer signing. My father is a sperm.... hahahahah

"I just want to find the perfect fit and give myself an opportunity to compete for a championship."

Ha! Ha! Ha! He's had that opportunity for years now; and done absolutely nothing with it. At 35 years old, there's not much chance of him suddenly becoming a player.

I think this is the third straight day (or more) of Dampier rumors. Now he wants to play on a championship caliber team? Okay here is your offer.

Dampier can sign with Los Angeles and PAY the Lakers $2 million to be listed on the roster. The $2 million will help lower the luxury tax so the Lakers would be a positive $4 million. In exchange for that, he will be the head water boy, replacing Luke.

Not only will the Lakers make money on the deal but they will have a practice "dummy". Deal or no deal? What is your Decision? LMAO!
