Jags see Garrard take another step backward

08:22 AM ET 09.27 | Though he didn't throw four picks, David Garrard managed to regress. He looked out of sync at times with his receivers. The Eagles dropped three interceptions or his quarterback rating (38.9) would have been in single digits. There were also protection lapses because tackles Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton were beaten severely on three different sacks.

Heading to L.A. anytime soon Jags?

September 27, 2010  08:33 AM ET

Sorry Garrard... you suck.

And this guy was one of the Pro Bowl quarterbacks in 2010.

Which tells you what I think of the Pro Bowl.

L.A. Jaguars. Sounds better than L.A. Vikings, for sure.

you might have to rearrange the divisions though. that whole east/west coast travel thing is killer...

Good call. The Jags belong in the NFC West anyway. They could almost be competitive.

Garrard's days are pretty much done in Jacksonville.

Three years ago, you would have thought this team was going to be really, really good. Seems like a long, long time ago.

Other than Jones-Drew, this team is very ordinary.

In his case, it means a lot...

... this man has Chrohn's Disease.

He's one of the feel good stories in sports.

Playing a professional sport with a condition that debilitates a lot of folks.

They're perennial underachievers.

Yeah, it's a big thing to overcome, but my point was that the guy is a mediocre performer at best, yet he was in the Pro Bowl. I was trying to emphasize what a joke the Pro Bowl is.

Yeah, most people with Chrohn's Disease spend their time with a different kind of bowl entirely.

I can't recall, but didn't his season warrant pro bowl selection that year?
