10:05 AM ET 10.02 | Next Tuesday, ESPN's E:60 will air a long piece about Daniel Snyder, built around several extensive conversations between ESPN's Rachel Nichols and the owner. The network has put out this trailer from the piece, with a few of the better quotes. "I feel the last two years I let people down," Snyder told Nichols. "It's awfully embarrassing....I feel bad. And Bruce Allen's always busting my chops, he says stop apologizing all the time, you're driving me crazy with apologizing." Later, Snyder talked to Nichols about his early years with the Skins. "When you first buy the Redskins, there's no instruction manual," he said. "I was 34 when I bought the team....I can't believe they would actually give a team to a 34-year old. I'm not sure I would now. [But] I think that it ultimately will wind up being one of the great decisions they've made."

And your a browns fan.....

As a fan I have to admit Snyder does try.... We're ready for the formula to finally come together, patiently as possible, but DAMN!

Apparently, bringing an NFL team to great success in real life is significantly more challenging than doing so on Madden.

I would think every team in the NFL is looking for the formula to win, and every owner was trying to put a winning product on the field...so Snyder hasn't done it yet ...relax

I wish.... I heard he was amazing.

He's halfway to being an ideal owner, at least he's willing to spend.

Good point. It's not like he's Al Davis or anything. Al Davis is like an insanely rich version of Andy Rooney . . . And damn, that's a whole lot of crazy right there.

Hang in there... this mess will take a bit.

Amen!! Just write the checks and stay out of any decisions.

A blessing and a curse. For years he played fantasy football with the roster and signed over the hill, past their prime players.

Gross...

October 2, 2010  12:25 PM ET

I farted.

October 2, 2010  12:26 PM ET

Sooooo he apologizes, then he says how "it will be one of the great decisions " the NFL made by accepting him as an owner?

I am guessing out of context but man are these guys hot and cold.

that or he is full of: __________ <---- fill in your favorite thing here (like ice cream or saw dust).

No one can say you are not on message - imagination would be good, especially considering that pink dress you are wearing.

It seems like the light bulb went off or something. Snyder seems to be turning the team over to football people and not acting like a spoiled kid storming the candy store every off season.

Hows that Haynesworth thing working out for you Daniel?
