Different season unfolding in Indy?

08:21 AM ET 10.04 | It may not be time for panic in Indianapolis, but concern seems justified. Maybe, finally, it's not going to be another one of those magical and mysterious Indianapolis Colts mega-seasons. ... The overarching problem is glaring: this defense is somewhere between bad and terrible. And there's no real solid explanation for it. They returned all 11 starters from last year's rock-solid group. They are playing their second year under defensive coordinator Larry Coyer. They've had some injuries -- they lost Melvin Bullitt to a shoulder injury Sunday -- but in the past, they've always been able to plug holes, find a way, make a play.

Jax plays them well, especially at home....not like they blew the Colts out.

Houston beat them too, though... They're 0-2 in Divisional play.

It's how they end the season.

No shame losing to Houston but Jax? Yikes!

It took a 59 yard FG to be beat them... I just don't understand the TimeOut call by Caldwell with 33 seconds left... What was he thinking?

KC comes to town next week

I guess it is a story win a team strings together Ws like the Colts did for so many years and then it stops, but nothing lasts forever. As long as their qb is healthy they will compete but they are also rans this year.

Not just yet. 5 games does not a season make. Indy has been to good for to long to fold the tents just yet.

Ooooh, that hurt.

As a Bronco fan, I can tell you that what happens in September doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what happens in December. The Colts have time to right the ship and the Chiefs will have to step it up as the season goes along and people start to have tape on them and get a feel for their tendencies.
