08:20 AM ET 10.05 | Londoners wanted to see more of Kobe Bryant, but his knees held him back. Kobe played the six minutes he did out of obligation to the fans, but his knees need more rest and recovery following offseason surgery. Surgery he needed because those knees were sore. Lakers.com reporter Mike Trudell had these postgame comments from Kobe on Twitter: Kobe said his knee was "extremely, extremely painful during the NBA Finals." Said he feels better, but is at about "60 percent" [Monday].

Doesn't matter. Regular season is a joke.

Plus Bryant at 60% is better than any guard in the league.

Haha...Kobe throwing up the devil horn's. All these guys have sold out to Baphomet.

Kobe has started out slow and its only going to get slower, rest him during the reg season so he can do his damage during the playoffs.

Thats not the devil's horn, he is saying that he loves his fans.

That is what they say to deflect the truth of the sign. You can think what you want. Most of the high profile athletes have sold out. This is common knowledge. (well not to the typical sports fan though)

Get plenty of rest, Bro.

What do you mean "sold out"? What did they sell?

why wouln't i be. kobe is NOT better then wade at 60%. and at 100 he is not that far much better then wade. better but not much

I agree with the 60% part. However, at 100%, nobody in the NBA is on Kobe's level. Heck, Kobe has been playing injured the last 2-3 seasons, and he's still been the best in the league. So at 100%, it's not even a discussion. Everybody knows about his fingers, but nobody knew about his knees, because Kobe is an assassin. He doesn't make excuses.

By your response, I can tell you are totally out of the loop of what is going on. Continue being one of the many sheeple. This conversation is done. It is not even worth my time.

i agree kobe is a warrior. but having nba league pass i get to watch miami alot and wade also plays with multiple injuries and get's it done. if there is anybody that is better then kobe wade is the closest. i agree kobe is hands down best player in the league but i dont think not much better then wade at this point. the only reason kobe is better at this point is a consistant jumper. if wade had a better jumper he would be better then kobe already. but u can could of, would of all day. i mean i'm not even a fan of labron but even without heart prince is a consistant jumper from being better then kobe. but at this point in time wade is not far from taking kobe spot as best 2 guard/player in the league.
