08:24 AM ET 10.06 | A.J. Green is considering his options as they related to an NFL career after this season. It's hard to imagine Green staying after his impressive first two years on the gridiron and then his eligibility issues that led to a four-game suspension by the NCAA for selling his Independence Bowl jersey. Green said he lost sleep while watching Georgia start 1-3. He returned to action last week against Colorado and showed why he expected to be a high NFL draft pick with seven catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns and 49 rushing. "I don't know yet. But I do feel like I owe some of the fans some more stuff, just missing those four games. So I don't know," Green said.

Clearly there's no steroid use in Athens.

Hey AJ, eat a sandwich, dude!

Yeah ... he returned to action against mighty Colorado ... and Georgia lost ... again. Stats or NFL potential don't mean squat.

Translation: I can't live on what I made on my jersey so if the NFL throws me a lot of cash my ass is outta here-but if they don't-I owe the fans some more of me.

If he leaves, it's just another kick in da nutz for the Dawgs.

If he stays, he'd likely have to break in a new coach. Considering that, he'd likely bolt for the NFL.

A top recruit target for UGA which they are fighting Alabama for, Isaiah Crowell, did not have very kind words for UGA after this weekend. Remember when Richt said things could get better or they could get worse? That was about 2 losses ago.

I don't know if he can survive.

Fixed for ya.

Most like Top 5 pick and 1st WR taken.. I would bet he is out the door

He and Julio Jones are tops on the board for the Titans so far. He will have to bulk up a bunch to survive the NFL though.

Remember, there may be no NFL to go to next year. He may be looking at his options based on the potential lock out.

Good point, but I was hoping that he could play in the NFL this weekend instead of playing against Tennessee.
