Iverson close to signing with Turkish club

09:23 AM ET 10.09 | According to the Turkish media, Besiktas could be close to sign Allen Iverson for the upcoming season. The former NBA star, one-time MVP, would have reached an agreement on the economic terms with the Turkish club. Both parts could be now negotiating the last details of the contract that would bring Iverson for the first time to Europe.

I'd recommend more research. Turkey is a member nation of the Council of Europe (http://www.coe.int/aboutCoe/index.asp?page=47pays1europe&l=en), for example.
