09:35 AM ET 10.09 | Adrian Peterson said the acquisition of Randy Moss made him feel like a kid in a candy store. He also compared it to Christmas. His excitement is understandable. While most of the trade talk has focused on Moss' potential impact on the Vikings struggling pass game, the threat of his big-play capability and downfield speed also should loosen things up for Peterson and the running game.

Please... oh please... pull a hamstring...

Or, Randy could just act like he did when he was with the Raiders and exacerbate the problem.

How does Moss open up the running game? He's a "me first" player, and those type of players don't typically do that.

top wide receiver...hmmmm...he just may..lol

This could be a good thing. I guess I would prefer Favre sending out the football on the field instead of nude pics of himself on his cell phone.

LOL!!! Missed that one lol

I said this 2 days ago. Where have you been? The line that long at Starbucks or what?

Teams will have to go back to their original plans, before Rice got hurt, and when they thought Favre 2010 would be as good at Favre 2009, which so far he hasn't been. Of course, if AP goes back to fumble-fingered Peterson 2009, then the Vikes still go nowhere.

But if Moss turns out to be the last missing piece of the puzzle, this weird season is about to take yet another twist.

This is just the Vikings making one last leaping, gasping, grasp for the golden ring because they are done after this year... done...

Tell me what is the crime, Sending a pix text or Sexting? After all, every one is an adult.

Hard to argue with that. When Favre calls it quits, the rest of the dominos will start to fall, probably starting with Brad Childress...

October 9, 2010  10:29 AM ET

Gosh Adrian I hope all your Santa wishes come true but if the playing history of one Randy Moss is any indication of what you might expect, I suspect you and the other children are going to be greatly disappointed. Wish you well in any case....

maybe favre should of gone into training camp and stopped that soap opera that he conducted this off season....

T&R did report however that the Jets female employee he allegedly sent raunchy pictures too confirms his 2 minute offense is still effective.....

When your already mortgaged to the hilt, what's a little more debt? There is no point in the Vikings pretending they are thinking of the future, they are built to win it all THIS year.

It all hinges on a QB with a sore elbow and ankle. Not a betting man, but don't like the odds.

At least pull my finger.

Looking bleak to be a Vikings fan... Moss will play hard until Favre can't get him the ball, which between his sore elbow and sore texting thumbs will be over very soon.

I noticed that while at New England, Moss either has lost a step or just gives up.
Patriots didn't bother to question Moss, either he caught or or he didn't.
Get in Favres face, Moss will get a few throws, but Jets just have too much and at home.
Sorry Viking fans, this season is gonna get ugly.
