Stone Mountain (Ga.) receiver Charles Reeves Jr. continues to consider scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. Reeves will likely wait until near the end of the season to make a decision. Without declaring Tennessee his front-runner, Reeves made clear his feelings for the Volunteers. "I love the Tennessee program," Reeves said. "It's like one big happy family up there."

Does the kid know Fullmer is going to get whacked?

UT needs to be leaning towards a new head coach, and coaching staff. When you do the same thing for the last 15 years.....other teams tend to figure you out.

I'm a UT fan until they play LSU, and I think new blood is needed.

I believe that people need to get off the whole Fullmer fireing thing until after the season. Right now he has a chance to win the SEC east.

Apparently Georgia didn't get the memo (haha). Yeah, when they beat Georgia, they BEAT Georgia.

You're right, Fornacis. UT's has got to learn to mix it up more in today's game. It's not like Tenn. doesn't have a lot of talent, you just need to do more with it. UT and LSU always get the big guys at the skilled postions, but it's how they are used that separates the two teams.

Well it just hurts because I live here in TN, and its the weirdest thing.....all these UT fans have nothing to talk about really in the world of College Football. I mean....5 or 6 years ago on the weekends everyone would fly the orange and white, and this part of the state was buzzing with excitement. I really want to see UT succesful because to me they have always been a tough team that played smashmouth football. It would also do a lot for the state....amazing the impact that a college football team can have on your state. Stop and think about it sometime.

Work is still quiet after that Georgia whipping....odd thing. They are talking more about the LSU / Florida game.

Come on UT!!!!

What are you an owner of a mattress warehouse or something? No drop in the inventory, even after a big win over the dogs? That would surprise me.

October 8, 2007  05:13 PM ET

haha....nah we develop software.

Well after I posted this I had a fired up UT guy come by that went to the game.

I stand corrected. Hopefully UT can keep up the intensity.

Exactly this win was good for my area too i live in TN and let me say a lot of people got DUI's that night the cops were everywhere

Congrats to Tennessee for beating Georgia but how are they still ranked behind the Dawgs? I have no problem with ranking the two teams 24 and 25 in the polls but the two should have been reversed. Tennessee should be 24 and Georgia 25.

I know the Vols played one less game then the Dawgs but Tennessee put it on them and that should have counted for something.

Easy..UT's first game this year...That is why I think they are 1 behind UGA..But they did whip UGA good...the doctor said the same thing when I was born--"It got ugly and QUICK!!!"...

Fulmer shouldn't be fired. The playcalling stinks right now but it is the defensive holes that lost us the Florida and Cal game early this year. They just aren't disciplined enough. They looked like a Big 10 or Bif East defense in those games.
