Recruit picks Jayhawks over Illini
The recruiting frustration of the Illinois basketball program continued Sunday when a Chicago native opted to play for former Illini coach Bill Self at Kansas. Mario Little, a 6-foot-5-inch product of Chicago's Washington High School, who is playing for Chipola College in Marianna, Fla., chose Kansas over Illinois and Kansas State.

Why do I even bother continuing to hope that Weber will land a significant recruit at some point? Self has taken away WAY too many Chicago recruits.....

You would think that weber would have some pull considering that his brother coaches in Chicago. But he couldnt land Jon Scheyer and he played for the team that his brother coached, must suck!
