08:20 AM ET 10.11 | The Lakers have returned from their globetrotting, but the team is facing injury issues. Kobe Bryant still is trying to get his right knee stronger after having surgery in July. Andrew Bynum hasn't begun to practice after surgery on his right knee and might not play until late November or early December. Luke Walton is dealing with a right hamstring injury that kept him out of the first two exhibition games. He's expected to be reevaluated this week. "I just don't think that Andrew, that there is a chance he's going to possibly be ready for the season," said Jackson, who added that the Lakers also aren't sure how ready Bryant will be when the season starts.

Doesn't matter whether they play or not. Miami will breeze through to win the title either way.

Why keep bringing this up? Kobe will be ready when it counts most. Hasn't he proven that already???

They need to learn how to win w/o Kobe. They're used to playing w/o Bynum.

Kobe will be there when it counts most. No worries!

I don't think so but I think Lakers are trying to make the regular season easy for Miami cos that's all they'll win. The playoffs is Lakers, Boston & Orlando time.

October 11, 2010  09:48 AM ET

They better get them back quick . I think they may lose a couple and as for miami ...... we shall see about that, Brah

October 11, 2010  09:57 AM ET

iam with mostly everyone here...Kobe will start the season but most important be there for when it counts. Hopefully the Lakers can win without Kobe so they dont fall too behind the rest of the West.

As for Bynum...iam not sure this dude will ever be 100% healthy but doesnt really matter hes not all that any ways,

Now can we get a new picture of Kobe?

Anybody that thinks Miami will win the title is a moron like JVG. He was the same that guy the crowned last season's Cavs champs. They need to stip of him of his analyst title.
