'Laughingstock' Bills capable of 0-16?

08:04 AM ET 10.11 | In addition to Luke Russert's Twitter feed, some are putting 0-16 in play for the Bills. Are the Buffalo Bills bad enough to go 0-16? They enter their bye week 0-5 and won't play in Ralph Wilson Stadium for a month. That's a decent formula to send them on their way to total ignominy. "It's terrible," Bills safety Donte Whitner said. "It's 0-5, the laughingstock of the National Football League. I think we are losing fans by the minute."

My takeaway from yesterday is to never pick the Bills again this season.

They are putrid.

Fact: Dallas has won one more game than the Bills.

Well... then we got that going for us.

We're going to have a parade Chico. Free cupcakes for the first 200 people who show up.

Perry Fewell went 3-4 last year as their interim coach and they did not even consider making him their HC. Go figure.

Does that mean the team name and field stay in the NFL or do we just give them everything and pretend nothing happened?

They might be thinking about it next year.

The Bilss aren't just bad now. I see no way they will ever get better. With the weather, small town and comparatively limited budget, they will never get top quality free agents to go there.

October 11, 2010  09:12 AM ET

they're putting up too many points to not win a game.

First tie in recent history would promptly occur in that game.

Yeah, you've gotta figure that one of these games they'll come up against a flat offense that can't get the job done. Or maybe at the end of the season, when somebody is resting their starters.

On the other hand, by the time "parity" got to Buffalo, it was spelled "parody."

Even Ralph is an Al Davis knockoff.

My panthers may have a chance to rival the bills for utter failure of the year. My panthers are an utter disappointment (not like we expected a deep run this year) and the product they put on the field is embarressing. I know Jerry Richardson is doing it for the owners to set an example, but by not spending a time and cutting anyone worth a damn he basically crucified himself with his fans. I agree with what the owner stands for, but this is downright rediculous and the panthers and bills should just play the rest of the season with benny hill music blasting over the stadium whenever their offenses hit the field.

It's sad to see a team this futile and maybe such a bad record would be a wake up call (seems to have worked for Detroit... they appear on the right track). But really they are doing it to themselves up there... they had the oppotunity to go out and get at least a competent HC (Leslie Frazier, Mike Zimmer) but nooo they get Chan Gailey, who thought that would work out? They had the oppotunity to draft a QB (Jimmy Clausen) or pick-up a FA or Trade (Marc Bulger or Donovan McNabb) but nooo they decided to sit with Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick, how is that working out? Until ownership pulls their heads out of their As... this will continue.

Thats right the only real option they have is to build through the draft or make some trades. But aside from hitting on a guy or two here and there they seem clueless at the draft as well.

The Bills front office and ownership is lost in space. They have no idea what they are doing, and my feeling is they don't give a crap. As soon as Wilson is dead, the team will be moved. What a shame. It is very hard to be a Bills fan.
