08:13 AM ET 10.12 | Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn is preparing as if he will play Sunday. [But] he said based on his conversations with Aaron Rodgers, he didn't think the concussion Rodgers suffered Sunday had affected him greatly. Flynn said he talked to Rodgers both after the game and Monday morning and didn't sense he was suffering from some of the worst symptoms of a concussion. "I think with some of those things, if it's not really severe you can't really tell," Flynn said in the locker room Monday. "I don't know how severe his is. I don't know what the doctor said, but we talked as we normally do after games, normal conversation." On the plane ride home, Flynn said, he played cards with Rodgers as they normally do and didn't sense he had suffered any memory loss.

Doesn't having a concussion require sitting a game or two?

I guess the only "sever signs" would be if he were still laying on the field.

"On the plane ride home, Flynn said, he played cards with Rodgers as they normally do and didn't sense he had suffered any memory loss."
Flynn left the plane and went to the bank, where he deposited a check from Rodgers for $2,846,792. Rodgers left the plane in his underwear.

Yep glad to see the NFL is taking this serious - now help some athletes that have nurses 24 hours. The link between concussions and MS/Lou Gehrig disease really changed the game.

We should wrap each player's helmet in bubble wrap and Styrofoam. Problem solved. You're welcome!

The technology of the helmets can't keep of with the physical strength that players have today.

Sure they can....Motorcycle helmets absorb bigger impacts than what a player can ever muster.........

According to PackersSuperBowl2010, Packers sgouldn't miss a beat since Flynn is the best backup in the NFL and could start for half the teams. Hahaha....where you at? Seems to disappear after a GB loss and doesnt take his lumps like a man....just sayin

No doubt. That's good.
Yeah...the Pack have been hit hard with injuries. Time to toughen up and play some hard hittin and SMART football. They really haven't shown me much this season. Sick of MM calling crappy offensive plays too. I would say Bears are the Division fave as of right now.
GO PACK!!!!

The Pack has to learn to win with the best available players. It's a good year to be on the Packers depth chart.

Depends on how severe the concussion is. They have some tests that a player must pass before they are allowed to play again. It didn't appear that Rodgers took a big hit. If he passes the tests then he can play this week.
