Both Peyton Manning and the Colts organization have proven themselves to be professionals. So, this deal will get done without a lot of screaming and bad feelings. Not as much fun as watching a Revis holdout or a Haynesworth tantrum, but better for both sides, and for the sport.

Very good comment. Peyton is a class-act guy unlike the money hungry people that you mentioned. It is refreshing to see players think of the team such as Manning and even Brady. Name me other players that would take paycuts to get players to make their team better.

No way are they going to let him go to another team. Manning IS the Colts and Tony Dungy is THE coach. The only way another coach could become THE coach is if he wins 2 or 3 Super Bowls. Dungy turned Indy from a basketball town into a football town.

Turns out one of the miners they pulled out this morning is a big fan of American football. When he got up, the first thing he asked was, "Hey, how are my Dallas Gauchos doing?"
