07:59 AM ET 10.14 | Brett Favre, who said he'd probably have to make the call, told reporters he would consider putting a halt to his ironman streak. Vikings coach Brad Childress was vague Wednesday when asked if he would consider starting Tarvaris Jackson in a game to help Favre's elbow heal. "You're always considering," Childress said. "You're always taking information and seeing what is best for the greater good." Jackson said he has been getting increased reps in practice in recent days because Favre is being asked to do less.

Yeah right... This is just a weak attempt at deflecting from the story of him, exposing his worm.

The "greater good" would have been for him to stay home on his tractor.

I know... Childress has absolutely 0 faith in Tavaris Jackson. They should go to Brett's farm and ride that tractor together.

He's probably pissed someone intercepted the sext message Brett was trying to send HIM.

Favre will start, if only to continue the iron man streak. If handing off to AP every down doesn't work, he'll try a few passes and then tell Childress to send in the clowns. TJack will don his helmet and false red nose.

Hey Brett! Strike a Pose!!!

Go Vikings

Favre makes the call? Tells you something about who is running this team. Now, if the Vikes were run like the Niners, it would be Ziggy making the call.

His iron man streak may end anyway. With the status of his package, he may be in jail within 2 months.

Jail? You mean like Plax? Sorry, New York has no laws against "assault with a dead weapon."
