Favre may make call to end ironman streak

07:59 AM ET 10.14 | Brett Favre, who said he'd probably have to make the call, told reporters he would consider putting a halt to his ironman streak. Vikings coach Brad Childress was vague Wednesday when asked if he would consider starting Tarvaris Jackson in a game to help Favre's elbow heal. "You're always considering," Childress said. "You're always taking information and seeing what is best for the greater good." Jackson said he has been getting increased reps in practice in recent days because Favre is being asked to do less.
