Favre's status now iffy

08:09 AM ET 10.15 | Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell invoked the term "if" as it related to Brett Favre playing on Sunday against the Cowboys. Bevell said a decision on Favre's status for Sunday's meeting with the Dallas Cowboys "could go up to game time." But if Favre does play, his arm trouble won't affect Bevell's play-calling. "If a guy's going to play, you've got to play it the way that you're going to play it. You're not going to be able to hide the quarterback," Bevell said. "If he's got to make the throws, he's got to make the throws. If he can't make them, then you've got to put someone else in there who's going to make them.

QUOTE(#3):

I think the coaches are saving Pevre's life if they don't play him on Sunday. The Cowboys will finally shine. Phillips got his second vote of confidence so he's ready.

let's not concede anything to the Cowboys just yet. they tend to fall down faster than food disappearing from Haynesworth's plate.

Yawn..

If Tarvaris Jackson had played as poorly as Favre has thus far, people would be BEGGING for the backup to get into the game.

Of course he starts. The only question is, how long will he play before he gets pulled. Unless, of course, he really feels fine and all this talk is just a Belichick-like smokescreen.

Brett, could you take a picture of your elbow with your cell phone and send it to me? Thanks, dude. I owe ya one.

Will that help his worm too? Deanna wants to know. Jenn couldn't care less though.

I guess that if Bert sits, the OC will finally earn his keep this week.

October 15, 2010  08:56 AM ET

This is his excuse this year. He always has one when he plays poorly. For example, his bicep was hurting in 2008 but he did not say anything until his collapse in the later part of the season. Go home and send pics of yourself to random people.

Minnesota has possession of the worst head coach/offensive coordinator combination in football. It's hard work making that much talent play with so little direction, but they seem to pull it off seemlessly.

Favre it's not that easy - You gone have to try harder to deceive me!

He think he all that!

He think he all that!

Man don't believe that!

That statement is "dead on, balls accurate!"

Chico.....

It's pass time that he should step down.

If Favre sits with painful tendinitis in elbow, He is Truly Drama Queen for Life.
All ex players, doctors say nothing you can do but play through the pain.
He gets paid 16 to 20 million in one final year and sits out a game?
No freaking way! Stop whacking off in the shower to photos of Jenn.
Deana!!!! Watch her face, maybe she will join Tiger Woods ex wife LOL
