08:16 AM ET 10.15 | Dez Bryant may not be an option for Tony Romo this weekend. Continued problems with a high ankle sprain could keep [Bryant] out of Sunday's game at Minnesota. Bryant missed the majority of Thursday's practice because of discomfort in the ankle. Coach Wade Phillips admitted he is "worried" Bryant won't be able to play. Bryant injured the ankle on July 30, during training camp. He missed all five exhibition games and has come up limping several times during the regular season.

That high ankle sprain is a b**** to recover from. He had one in the preseason that never fully healed.

Durability is a concern.

October 15, 2010  08:30 AM ET

They pushed him too hard in preseason and then rushed him back once the season started. He's going to be fighting this injury all season long.

We're in week 6 and these teams have a total of 2 wins between them. At the start of the year, this was a much-anticipated meeting. Now, it's just a couple of disappointing teams going head to head to see who sucks the most.

Dez out...good thing Austin's in...somebody stop that kid...

I'm hearing whining about the Vikings running up the score in the playoff rout last season. Oh no! Billboard material! What ever will the Vikings do??

October 15, 2010  09:11 AM ET

Dallas is dead, with or without Dez, I hate to admit it but....
Gotta be real, Recall last meeting of these two teams, a 34-3 Viking win.
Minnesota now with Moss, has something for Jerry Jones.
Smoke em!
I smell smoke coming from Jerry Jones office, Fire Him!
Bye bye Wade!
In fact Bye bye Cowboys and the season...sad very sad.....

If they don't win you can stick the big old fork in 'em...that's what! Same with the Cowboys. Whoever loses is toast.

Ah yes..............the Toilet Bowl.

I feel your pain, Otis. But, it's good to face these things head on. Living in denial, week after week, is bad for the soul. It's just so....so....so Brett Favre.

I have been as vocal as anyone in calling him a flop but based on his work this season he is starting to look like the player they expected they were getting when they traded for him.

Cowboys still have 5 games left with MFC East opponents. Losing this game is big, but not a season ender.
