Alien wants to join Karl ... Which coaching ropes does he plan to learn? The one to hang himself with?

October 10, 2007  10:49 AM ET

This is perfect- now Iverson can sign with the Lakeshow and dominate with Kobe and Odom and FIsh.

He looks like Louis Gossett Jr. without the mustache

jamaal mashburn is from the same planet as this dude

October 10, 2007  02:38 PM ET

Why go to Denver, Sam? So you can ride the pine behind Iverson? Wow, that's an awful lot of confidence in your game... You'd be smart to run the offense and show your mettle in LA while brand is out.

I'm tired of these ring chasers. They make me sick.

October 10, 2007  02:58 PM ET

He's not going to win a ring skybill, he wants to go so he can join Karl's staff Sam wants to coach!!

October 10, 2007  03:06 PM ET

I understand that Mac, but it's not exactly like DEN isn't trying to win... They have a pretty decent team too, so they do have a shot despite the lack of PT he'll get even under Karl.

October 10, 2007  03:48 PM ET

I can't imagine Cassell as a coach on any level. I just cannot see it.

October 10, 2007  03:54 PM ET

Oh and of course Sam is looking for 1 last payday and he wants Karl to put in a good word.

October 10, 2007  03:58 PM ET

cassel is not a ring chaser..he's already got rings, and he earned them with houston...

i like sam he's one of the best clutch players in the game..he's game is ugly but effective..

October 10, 2007  04:11 PM ET

Coach Cassell? Seems a little to goofy to be a coach to me but the guys been a winner in this league for the most part so It's not impossible.

Cassell probably is or was the best pg out there playing with his back to the basket his play always has been effective.

October 10, 2007  04:31 PM ET

I believe Cassell has lost his desire to play. The Clippers organization tend to do that to veteran players.

October 10, 2007  04:34 PM ET

This dude can play..ugly as h'ell, but dude can play.

October 10, 2007  04:49 PM ET

good thing his face doesn't represent his game.....good luck Sam I Am

October 10, 2007  05:08 PM ET

I think he would be a good coach but part of coaching is knowing when to shutup and I don't know if sam has that ability!

You can't stand ring chasers? Do you prefer the money chasers?
