10:55 AM ET 10.16 | Former NASCAR Sprint Cup crew chief David Hyder has taken a position with Kevin Harvick Inc. Hyder most recently worked as a crew chief with the Wood Brothers on the # 21 Cup car. Hyder is "shadowing us" this weekend, said KHI general manager Rick Carelli. "He'll be working on special projects," Carelli added. "He'll also be Kevin's crew chief at Martinsville (Speedway) on the #2 Tide truck."

Oh, good to know. I wonder if Kevin has forgiven his Nationwide crew for last week. He used his Cup crew last night.

I still can't make myself like Harvick. I see him as a pretty good team owner, but a real putz as a driver. I'd almost rather see JJ win again than see Harvick get the cup.

I was amazed at the number of empty seats last night. Seems like it's getting worse every week. It was a bit chilly but I don't think that was the reason. Maybe if J.J. leaves Nascar and goes over to Open Wheel things might improve. LOL The lack of performance by Jooonya hasn't helped as he had many fans who seem to have drifted away.
