Elijah Dukes heads to the Dominican Republic today for winter ball, the latest step in his attempt to get his career back on track. Dukes, who hit .190 with 10 homers in 52 games for Tampa Bay this year, remains on the Rays' 40-man roster. It's far from certain that he will be in spring training with his hometown team come February, as a trade remains a possibility, but his agent said he hopes his client can resume his career in Tampa Bay.

Thank you for your RFP, Mr. Space Ace.

The Martin Lockheed HeliHelmet generates a column of cool air that produces nearly 20,000 pounds of lifting power, using variable inlet guide vanes to modulate the airflow, along with an equivalent amount of thrust from the downward vectored rear exhaust to lift the aircraft.

The Helihelmet is a patented Lockheed Martin design developed and produced by Rolls-Royce, and will function in any gravity.

It comes with a free set of yard darts and lousy goddamned toaster.

It has little to do with what we're talking about, but I couldn't resist.

"Sausage Wallet " is a personal favorite, followed closely by "The Jaws of Hell" and "The Dripping Delta."
