Panthers shopping Smith?

And the fire sale continues in Carolina. Who the heck is Clausen going to throw to? When you rebuild, you don't have to get rid of everything.

Smith is no longer in his prime although he could be extremely useful to another team. The question that he needs to answer surrounds his willingness to possibly be the second option, depending on the team he may get traded to.

Dude's a player but he is hurt ALL the time...

NE - Maybe...

SD - no way... as long as A.J. is running the team.

That makes a lot of sense. The Panthers have no other receiver worth anything that can actually make a play or catch the ball. The Panthers are better off trading Stewart or Williams at RB and getting another WR. The word in Charlotte is that Richardson will be selling the team and he's trying to make it better for the new owner to come in and create his own team. From a fan's point of view, it sucks.

Yes they are. I saw him listed just below the $33 Air Jordans.

Smith to the Giants would be amazing. The announcers would have migraines.

I think the flag football injury pissed someone off in the front office.

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with Smith calling timeout and dressing down Clausen in front of the world a few games ago. There might be some insurmountable tension there and the Panthers are making a choice. (Insert pouty clausen photo here)
