10:02 AM ET 10.17 | Gilbert Arenas was nervous about the reception that he was going to receive on Tuesday against Atlanta, which may have also contributed to his "sore knee." But he was pleasantly surprised by the applause he received from the sparse crowd in his three-minute performance against Milwaukee -- the day after his reputation took another hit for his ill-conceived means to assist Nick Young. But his interaction with fans is starting to help Arenas break out of that gloomy persona that he took on the first few days of training camp.

Agreed. In terms of basketball, it will be all about the Wizards winning games. Off the court, it's all on him to stop being stupid.

wooow after being almost irrelevant for 2 years, the kinda news he is making is unbelievable; Why is the media infatuated with a half-talented egoistic loser? It aiint like he won anything before going to jail. PUHLEEEASE, move on jerk!!

He is disaster waiting the happen again.
The wizard should void his contract for faking injury. It's better to risk losing a work dispute lawsuit than keeping such sociopath poisoning a locker room.

It's sad to see that talent, success, fortune and fame do not help kids abandoned by their crack mom to ever understand what is a socially destructive behavior, what are the basic minimum trust, common sense, and rule abiding expectations of society on its citizens.

He should call Artest's therapist before he completely self-destructs.

Arenas is a bozo that doesn't deserve to play in the league.
