General manager Bruce Allen said the Bucs are likely to select from a list of four free-agent running backs the team worked out Tuesday. According to the list submitted to the league office, those running backs are Kevan Barlow, Ciatrick Fason, Shaud Williams and Tony Fisher. Last week, the Bucs worked out Zack Crockett, who played for Jon Gruden in Oakland.

Looks like the Bucs choices are Suck, Suck, Suck, Suck and Suck. Why waste the money?

heh, couldn't of said it better myself....

QB and RB seem to be in short supply.

Crockett is not an everydown back and Barlow was an underperforming bust in SF. The Bucs should just play some rookie with a passion for making the team next year as none of the above listers are going to do any better, but will cost so much more.

Wow, what a terrible list to choose from. Why don't they just sign mini-me as their HB, hand him the ball every down, and chuck him 5 or 6 yards downfield.

I'm telling you, I would be an offensive genius if I ever got a shot.

Please tell me you need a qb coach or something....I'm so in...hahaha....

Yeah, I could use a good QB coach. I'm thinking our standard drive would look something like:

Midget-chuck, midget chuck, midget-chuck until we get to the red zone.

Then rip off a flea flicker statue of liberty double reverse wr pass to qb hook and ladder into the end zone.

Then of course we'd have all 11 guys on offense line up in the end zone and do a synchronized Icky shuffle. Totally worth the penalty.

Icky shuffle....that's the pants man.....

Gotta question tho...what happens if the defense catches the midget-chuck before it hits the ground....

And further more, if the defense does not touch said midget-chuck can he get back up and keep running?

October 10, 2007  03:01 PM ET

If they intercept the chuck, no harm done, it's just forward progress. So long as the little guy can hang onto the ball that is. And sure, he can get up and run if he really wants to, but I'd probably suggest to him that he just rolls as far as he can and call it a play.

He would be a valuable member of the offense after all, wouldn't want to see him take unnecessary hits.

You do realize that if he blocks he has no choice but to go for the knees...I wonder how that is going to play out with the squares...

Barry Barry Barry.... Ricky Ricky Ricky... Tiki Tiki Tike... ok.. I'll wake up now. WOW! Reality sucks!
