Dodgers break unwritten rule on Wallach?

08:19 AM ET 10.19 | The Blue Jays reportedly would like to talk to former Expo Tim Wallach about their vacancy, but the Dodgers appear to be standing in their way. [The] lingering mystery is why [the Dodgers] rejected general manager Alex Anthopoulos's request to interview [Wallach]. It is an unwritten rule in baseball, and professional sports in general, that teams never stand in the way of a coach or front-office employee who has an opportunity to advance with another organization. While Anthopoulos remains tight-lipped about everything to do with the ongoing search for a new manager to replace Cito Gaston, it is known that the Blue Jays organization is miffed at the Dodgers for their refusal to make Wallach available.

You should just lie back, bask in the afterglow & pretend it was a woman. Later you can lapse into denial and brag to your friends that you tapped Cyndi Lauper

Well as much as I like to spar with the verbally challenged, I have to do some work. You keep working on those "I know you are but what am I" retorts. No matter what anyone says, they're funny as hell.

Yankmee fans want us to believe how critical their team is to baseball. They are as critical to baseball as the Giants are to the NFL, the Knicks to the NBA, or the Rangers to the NHL. The long and short of it is they are not. Most believe that the Yankmees have this bottomless reservoir of cash into which they can dip at will. My impression is that they have hit critical mass. Where Cashman has shined this season is the bargain basement acquisitions he has made to supplement his underachieving megabuck stars. Signing Lee in the offseason is not a foregone conclusion. My money is on it not happening. And, even if it does, no big deal.

perhaps the dodgers are trying to use tim wallac as their team manager in the next season, because honestly i don't think the actual manager will do good on dodgers organitation,
